2011 was my first year of Ultra running,  after giving up competitive running as a teenager I came back to it 3 years ago, I entered the D33 in the March after 3 years training and said, ‘never again’ at the finish (!)

I then went on to do the bigger Ultras, my crowning glory was the Cateran Trail (55miler) finishing 5^th female.

The WHW for me is the ultimate race in the UK, I’ll be 40 in 2012 and this is my way of celebrating my 40^th year still alive on the planet. I can’t think of better way to celebrate x

If I finish it, I’ll be ecstatic.
