Finishing WHW in 2011 was a fantastic experience and as much due to my superb support team getting me through by a combination of unrealistic encouragements (‘you are doing great’ when you actually are at the end of the road mentally and physically) and stern challenges (‘you must eat or you are not going to make it’ and then almost force feeding me).

Here I am putting myself forward for this again and again getting that blank stare from folks. Under no illusions in terms of the training and discipline required but what a wonderful thing to try. Carpe Diem!
