I am from Bearsden and live only ten minutes from the start of the WHW, spending my weekend long training days on the trails initial stages. My younger years were spent sailing on Loch Lomond, walking, camping and climbing the Munro’s on the entire route.

Longer distance running, trails and hills has been a new natural blend. For the last two years I have been a team support runner. It will be a great reminiscing challenge to complete the Way ‘in one’, taking in all my favourite places, views and mountain routes of old.
