In 2009 I met a talkative chap called Jim Drummond at the Fellsman - his enthusiasm for the WHW Race sparked my curiosity.

Later that year I went for a training run with the Glee Club, fell in love with the sideways sleet across Rannoch Moor, met some tip top people, and the rest is history!

I'm hoping its 3rd time lucky getting to the start line in one piece this year. And being a Trotter, I am also hoping to get me and my crew to Fort William in time for an ale!
