I first heard about the West Highland Way race when walking the route with my now wife Sarah in September 2009.

I had taken up running that year and had one 10k under my belt, but felt strongly that it was something I had to try. 

Now having completed the Highland Fling last year I've seriously got the Ultra bug and intend on completing all three West Highland Way Ultra races in 2012, along with my twin brother Grant.

I hope everybody is enjoying the training, and I look forward to meeting everyone on or before race day.
