Gail (Murdoch) who has been in regular contact with Scott's family , has asked me to paste and post the message she has recently put on the Carnegie Harriers forum.
<<As many of you already know, Scott was admitted to hospital last weekend after collapsing, a few hours after running more than 100 miles of Hardmoors. He was in intenive care for several days, giving us all a real scare, but I'm delighted to say that he is recovering well and has now been moved to a regular ward. He still has a way to go to get better, but I can't imagine he will lying with his feet up for too long!

I am sure i join with everyone involved with the race,in whatever capacity, runners ,support,volunteers old and new etc in hoping Scott,s recovery continues, so let's keep sending good thoughts the way of him and his family.

That's brilliant news. I was just getting a tad worried given the lack of updates.
