2012 Race - Update on Entry Process have identified 21 entrants who we feel do not have sufficient experience to be given a place in the 2012 race. Hopefully these people will gain more experience
throughout 2012, and will enter again
for a future race. We believe we can do this and still be confident that the starting field will not exceed 200, as there will inevitably be withdrawals between now and race day. As a result of this we will not allocate any further places until the number of people on the start list falls below 200. In the event that the entry list falls below 200, we would consider accepting late entries. If you wish to be considered for such a place should the opportunity arise, please e-mail me at
ianbeattie@westhighlandwayrace.org. by e-mail at the same address as above. If your withdrawal is advised on or before 31 May 2012, £55 of your entry fee will be refunded. No refunds will
be made for withdrawals advised after
31 May 2012.

'I am very aware that there are still a number of people who withdrew from the 2011 race prior to 1 June but have not yet received a refund. If you are in this category, please accept my sincere apologies for the delay. We had a number of problems with the Paypal entry system (and won't be using it again) but these have now been resolved, and I expect to be in a position to get a refund to everyone due within the next couple of weeks. Once that is done there shouldn't be anything else to do for the 2011 race, and I'll be able to turn my full attention to 2012!'
